“For Collection 1, I have been thinking about how brides are celebrating, about modern refinement and how to marry those ideas into an offering for today.
Our bride captures attention with distinction. She enchants with her wardrobe, embracing the notion of occasion with touches of fantasy. Floor-skimming hems dusted with petals, allusions to the past through Neo-Grecian draping, and tinges of opulence are wearable but also let us dream. There’s a sense of delicate strength, she’s ladylike but spirited. You can feel the joy that radiates in her life through the clothes she wears.
There’s lots of texture, lots of detail. The palette is ethereal and romantic, with nods to bygone-era embellishment in gold and silver. Silhouettes are soft with corsetry taking cues from the past but brought into today with a more fluid finish. Throughout, there is a sense of the inherent beauty of the wedding dress—suggestions of the past with proposals for the future.
It’s a collection of moments—to be looked at, remembered, admired—a magical dream realized. And it’s brought together into a bridal collection that I believe create lasting, new memories in one’s life.”
