ANDREW KWON DRESSES CHLOE KIM FOR THE TIME100 SPORTS GALA

This evening, Olympic champion Chloe Kim attended the TIME100 Sports Gala in an ANDREW KWON gown, marking an elegant moment for the celebrated athlete at an evening honoring the most influential figures shaping the world of sports.

The look, from ANDREW KWON’s eighth collection, Prelude No. 2, and styled by Sydney Lopez, features a softly draped crossover bodice with a sculptural waist cutout, flowing into a voluminous, ethereal skirt. A dramatic train completes the look, creating graceful movement and a sense of modern romance.

Designed and crafted within the ANDREW KWON atelier in New York City, the gown reflects the house’s signature dialogue between couture craftsmanship and contemporary femininity, where sculptural construction meets softness and emotion.

ANDREW KWON, one of New York’s most compelling emerging couture voices, continues to define a new era of American craftsmanship. With a growing presence spanning red carpets, editorial features, and runway presentations, the house has garnered recognition for its refined balance of modernity and timeless elegance. Since founding his namesake label in 2021, Kwon has emerged as a creative force at the intersection of art and fashion, with each collection exploring femininity through a lens of emotion, movement, and individuality.

“Chloe’s fearless spirit and calm confidence have always made her such an inspiring figure,” says Andrew Kwon, founder and designer of ANDREW KWON. “We wanted a look that honored both the strength she brings to her sport and the effortless elegance she carries beyond it. The gown felt like the perfect reflection of that balance.”

Attending the TIME100 Gala following another historic Olympic season, Chloe Kim continues to affirm her place as one of the most accomplished and influential athletes of her generation. Kim earned silver in the women’s snowboard halfpipe at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, securing her third Olympic medal after winning consecutive gold medals in 2018 and 2022. She is the first snowboarder to capture titles across the Olympics, Youth Olympics, X Games, and FIS World Championships. Her appearance brought together athletic excellence and contemporary couture, reflecting the strength, confidence, and elegance that defined her career.
